Have you ever wished that your favorite stock charting site or favorite stock trading
software offered you the ability to draw Fibonacci trendlines and spirals? Well now with
the advent of Fibcharts Golden Spiral, your wish has come true. Fibcharts allows you to
easily turn any chart on your computer screen into a powerful Fibonacci chart.
Here is a one year daily chart of AAPL as captured from stockcharts.com with
Fibcharts, showing how the stock price reacts with the Fib arcs..
How it works:
Fibcharts will capture an image of whatever is displayed on your desktop screen.
You can then draw trend lines, fibonacci retracements and spirals using the
Fibcharts toolbox. Once you are finished you can save your work as an image file
for later reference.
When you first start Fibcharts, an image capturing window appears in the bottom right
corner of your computer screen. Pressing the Capture button will reproduce
an image of your desktop contents and transfer it into the Fibcharts chart drawing
window. The chart drawing window occupies the entire screen so it would be easy to
mistake it for the desktop itself, were it not for the existence of the drawing toolbox.
Drawing Toolbar:
The drawing toolbox contain several drawing tools that you can use, simple lines,
Fibonacci trend lines and Fibonacci spirals. You can adjust line thickness and color and
modify spiral sizes. Select a drawing tool then click and drag on the chart to
place it on your chart.
